Baby boom! On Monday I finally had time to visit one of my closest friends here, Kristine. She lives nearby so we really should be meeting more often than we do but when I'm free, she isn't and vice versa. So when I first saw her, I got the biggest shock ever cause she had a huge tummy! I wasn't sure if she'd just gotten extra fat or was pregnant and it turns out she's 7 months pregnant! I can't believe it! 7 whole months and I had no idea. Well I'm happy for them. She would make a great mom and I can't wait to see the baby. I tried to take pics when I was there but there was something wrong with the camera or the batteries. So I digged around for some old pics and found some.
This pic and all the other pics were taken ages ago, when I first moved here. Back then, we had lots of time to do things together.
This was right before Christmas a few years ago, at Kristine's house. There's actually 3 of us who were really close to each other. We used to share recipes and cook dinner/lunch together. The third girl's Maryam. Maryam used to teach us bellydance. She's also pregnant and the baby's due in just a few weeks! Congrats Maryam! I can't wait to see her baby too!
