Bruce Bogtrotter's cake.

I was inspired by all the cooking programmes i've been watching so I decided to be domestic today. I made this Chinesey roast chicken rice for dinner and I tried using Szechuan peppercorns for the chicken (cause Kylie Kwong always uses that! :). Anyway I thought it was okay...but Ma didn't like it....hehe she said it smelled like 'jamu' and 'kedai sinseh'! Annoying Ma. :p

Anyway after that I made this chocolate cake from Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipes. I haven't made the cake in years! And I used really nice couverture chocolate this time so I hope the cake is good. I also felt like really indulging in the whole chocolate thing so I took a step further and coated the sides of the cake with chocolate shavings. :))

The cake is in the fridge now....I'm letting it set....will probley have it tomorrow cause its almost midnight now. Now I feel like watching and reading 'Matilda' again.

PS: Oh yeah...Mel, I've emailed you a pic of the recipe cause i'm too lazy to type it here...hehe hope you don't mind. :D
